Our basic rates:

• English to Spanish, 10-15 cents (U$) per word (non-technical).
• English to Spanish, 15-20 cents (U$) per word (technical).
• We would like to evaluate your documents and provide you with a great rate.
• Large documents/projects: we often make exceptions to our base rate and can offer you exceptional translations at a great price.
• Minimum fee $35

We often get calls asking:

• Q: How much do we charge for a page?
• A: $30 to $35

• Q: What do you consider a page?
• A: A (LLI) page is Letter size (8.5x11), 12 pt. Courier, 1.5" margins, double space formatting (approximately 250 to 300 words per page).

• Q: My document had 350 words and you charged me for 390, why?
• A: Remember Spanish is a “Romantic language” and usually there is a 10-20% increase in the translated document word count. We have to write them, edit them and include them in your document, hence we also charge for them.

• Q: I only have a few words to translate, how much will it be?
• A: Minimum charge at LLI is $35, call us…

• Q: Can you do Desktop Publishing and can you provide camera ready prints?
• A: Yes, we have full in-house DTP capabilities, we can set up simple brochures or complex books with digital image work.

• Q: Can you call my printing department/printing service and arrange to deliver the translations
• A: Of course, just provide us with the information and we will take care if the rest.

• Q: How do I send you my MS-Word document?
• A: Just attach it to and email it to lli@satxbiz.com

Incoming translations instructions:

• Documents sent by fax need to be clear.
• Documents sent by email need to be attached to your email.
• Whenever possible, please save documents to MS-Word.
• Documents sent by courier can be addressed to the address below.
• We also accept Quark Express, Adobe Pagemaker, Adobe InDesign, MS-PowerPoint, and others, please call us.

Outgoing translations methods:

• Translations can be emailed and attached with formats as requested.
• Translations can be sent by couriers.
• Translations can be faxed.
• Let us know what is best for you.
